We are regularly looking for horse- au-pairs.
Short job description:
Help on all fronts: e.g. help taking tourists of all levels on rides (1 up to 6 hours), leading ponies with small children, occasional help with beginners lessons, stable management (cleaning, feeding, grooming, tacking up)- there are not too many stables to muck out as most of our horses live in a herd in the field. Depending on your qualifications, you might also get involved with training young horses, You will work 6 days a week for food, accommodation and pocket money. Minimum stay is 6 weeks.
We expect:
a good level of riding and horsemanship, flexibility, good sense of humour, team spirit, dedication and excellence in customer care, good manners and a love of horses, ability to see and do the work that needs doing without constant supervision, a certain amount of independence and minimal housekeeping skills as au-pairs do their own cooking and laundry.
