The Clinician: F
or those that haven’t met Julie yet : Julie is a German FN qualified instructor ( level 2 for dressage and level 1 for showjumping and cross country). She is very knowledgeable in many different training techniques and schools of horsemanship. She has trained with Philippe Karl and Johannes Beck Broichsitter. She has competed in dressage, showjumping and eventing. Her particular field of study is communication between horse and rider.
Thanks to her love for Ireland and Irish horses she keeps coming back here so we get to enjoy her lessons every year!
On Easter Sunday it is worth coming to Island View Riding Stables , because every child that goes riding on those days will get to do the Easter Egg Hunt in the garden.
With a bit of luck our baby chicks will have hatched too by then .
A few pictures of the children that had great fun (and success) at the recent hunter trials in Irish Town and Killala, Co, Mayo. Well done to Daire, Elisa and John-Alfred. Johnny won his first trophy in the novice course (see image). Needless to say we are all proud of him . T
he horses and ponies at Island View enjoy the bags of horse food that were won.
